I recently had the opportunity to get out of the sweltering Florida heat and humidity to visit the 11,000 acre Wintergreen Resort in the mountains of western Virginia, near Charlottesville on the Blue Ridge Parkway, between the Shenandoah and Rock Fish Valleys. This beautiful mountain resort has something for everyone 365 days a year. While the heat and humidity of the city are getting to everyone, you can enjoy cool mountain air at Wintergreen. I had an al fresco dinner in July with some folks at the lovely Devils Grill and the ladies were wearing sweaters. Now that’s cool! And don’t forget, Virginia is for Lovers!
