PNC Bank & CME Group Tour Championship Announce Annual PNC Family Clinic

Free Junior Clinic for kids 17 and under to be held Saturday of Tournament week

NAPLES, Fla. (October 10, 2017) – The CME Group Tour Championship and PNC Bank are proud to announce the PNC Family Clinic is back for a second year.  The free junior clinic will be held on Saturday, November 18 at Tiburón Golf Club during the LPGA’s season finale.  The PNC Family Clinic hosted by LPGA-USGA Girls Golf will provide a unique opportunity for junior participants to learn the basic skills of golf or develop their game.

“I am thankful that PNC Bank is bringing back such a great experience for our community,” said Tournament Director Matt Hilliker. “The PNC Family Clinic is the perfect way for families to come together and enjoy golf.”

Children ages 17 and under are invited inside the ropes for hands-on instruction from LPGA teaching professionals.  The PNC Family Clinic will provide the opportunity to meet LPGA players and introduce junior participants to the Five E’s of Girls Golf: Enrich, Energize, Empower, Engage, and Exercise.  The clinic will culminate with a Q&A session and autograph opportunities.

“The game of golf truly brings people of all ages together,” said Chad Loar, PNC Regional President, Florida. “We encourage junior golfers of all skill levels to come and experience this program with their families.”

The PNC Family Clinic is free to attend and will be held on the back end of the driving range at Tiburón Golf Club. Registration will take place at 2:30 p.m. and the junior clinic will begin at 3 p.m.  One parent or chaperone per junior participant will receive free general admission into the tournament on Saturday (with junior participant’s presence).  Space is limited; therefore, advanced registration is required.  No previous golf experience is necessary and equipment will be provided on-site for all participants.
