PGA TOUR Superstore, the country’s fastest growing retailer of golf and tennis equipment, apparel, and accessories, announced the opening of a new store in Sarasota, Florida July 27th. The opening coincides with 3 others happening this summer in Austin, Texas, Boston and Denver, which will bring the total of PGA TOUR Superstores to 41. The Superstore has tripled its store count across the United States over the last few years and will continue to be opportunistic and aggressively invest in brick and mortar businesses.
“We are systematically building our presence in golf-centric markets throughout the country and plan to have up to 50 stores by the end of 2020,” said Dick Sullivan, President & CEO. “Our ‘customer experience’ mentality is our single best differentiator and is unmatched in the golf retail business. Combine that with our professional expertise, interactive environment and everything needed to play, we inspire beginners to avid golfers to have fun and enjoy the game.”
Inside a PGA TOUR Superstore guests can practice their short game on expansive putting greens and work on their swings in high-tech interactive simulators and hitting bays. The stores offer lessons from certified teaching professionals, custom club fitting and repair, along with the largest selection of clubs, accessories, balls, footwear and apparel for men, women and juniors in the United States.
During the Grand Opening, the Superstore will offer $30,000 in giveaways to the first guests in line, including: irons sets, drivers, wedges and putters. Apparel and accessories are also included in the giveaways. The Sarasota location will be at 8563 Cooper Creek Boulevard. Check it out at PGATOURSuperstore.com.
