PGA players with Florida ties did everything but win this past weekend’s rain-delayed AT&T Byron Nelson in  Dallas, Texas.

Matt Every of Daytona Beach and a University of Florida grad finished tied for second two strokes behind winner Sung Kang.

Bruce Koepka of Fort Lauderdale and Florida State University was fourth, three shots back .

Peter Uihlein, who spent his teenage years at IMG Academy in Bradenton, fired a final-round 64 and placed fifth, one of his best finishes on the PGA Tour.
