CME Group and the LPGA Tour Reduce Volunteer Registration Price for 2018 Tournament
NAPLES, Fla. – Volunteer registration is now open for the CME Group Tour Championship. Returning to the Tiburón Golf Club from November 12-18, the LPGA season ending event needs over 700 volunteers to fill a variety of roles such as walking scorers, marshals, and transportation. New to 2018, the tournament is pleased to offer a discounted $55 volunteer registration rate.
“The CME Group Tour Championship would not be possible without the hard work of our dedicated volunteers,” said Matt Hilliker, Tournament Director of the CME Group Tour Championship. “We couldn’t be more thankful for CME Group and the LPGA for their support in reducing volunteer registration to further enhance our overall volunteer experience at the tournament.”
During registration, volunteers have the flexibility to select their preferred committee as well as the days and shift times available. A full list of the volunteer committees can be found here. Volunteers will receive benefits such as: a tournament branded golf shirt, a visor or hat, one (1) volunteer badge, (1) official invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party, one (1) round of golf at Tiburón Golf Club if working at least three (3) shifts, four (4) complimentary daily grounds passes and free breakfast and lunch during working shifts. The volunteer badge is valid as a grounds pass, as well as parking for tournament week.
