2017 World Rowing Championship in Sarasota – Finals Weekend

The 2017 World Rowing Championship kicked off on September 23 in Sarasota and will come to an end this Sunday October 1. Over 1,700 athletes from over 60 countries competed in the event, which is being held at Nathan Benderson Park.

In addition to the finals, Sunday will feature Row for the Cure, a benefit dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.

Nathan Benderson Park was built with rowing events in mind, and first hosted regattas in 2009. The viewing tower was recently completed for the event.

General admission passes are still available online for $10 or in person for $15.
